[Error Code] P2040dw 0150 EEPROM data error

Hi Guys,

I have a Kyocera Ecosys P2040dw on my bench that was showing a "call service 0150" EEPROM data error. I replaced the Main PWB and the EEPROM. The "0150" call service code returned. I reseated all the connectors, but the code still returns.

Any suggestion as to the next step to take?

Hi I had several kyocera 4200 printers throw up this code ,each one had a spurious toner fitted, when Kyocera toner was fitted, the problem magically disappeared, I'm told it was a batch of faulty chips in the toner cartridges, worth a look.

I tried a different toner cartridge, and inspected the contact points, which appear to be okay. The error still returned.
