    DK-591 to DK-570

    Hi Kyos!

Instead of the DK-570 I plug the drum DK-591 and replace the electronic pad. Has anyone tried? It will work?

    Thanks!

    Z.

I can't speak for the DK-591 to DK-570 chip conversion, but, we have successfully swapped DK-591 to DK-590 chips and they have worked.

Thanks for response. btw Interesting nickname!

That means changing the chip works. Maybe somebody knows if the drums are physically the same? Like swap the same?

In our case the drums units were the same, just different chips. We were out of DK-591 at the time so I swapped the chip into a DK-590 and it worked.
