    CS7052c1 with fiery controller

This unit has been getting random, as far as I can tell by the log, F186's. By tech manual the F186 is an Abnormally detecting in a Video control section. We have made sure all the fiery patches are up to date and WSD & Enhanced WSD have been turned off(per Kyocera) but this unit is still getting random F186's.

Manual states to initialize the HDD, replace Engine Board, replace Main Board. Hoping someone has a better idea than ordering all this hardware and replacing it.

    Thanks

Looking at the logs have you been able to determine when the code occurs? Is it when it comes out of sleep mode? Like first thing in the morning? Had this issue on a different model with numerous machines with the same customer having the F186 codes, turning off low power mode for the network and fax resolved the issue, essentially the unit does not go to low power. For whatever logic they have just turning it off for the network does not work, you also have to do it for the fax even if you do not have It. Give it a try, it may solve your issue with no hardware replacements. Hope this helps a little.
