      Like mentioned above...

Scan to PC was the main function on these models of machines. This is recommended.

PS 10 is the max for SMB.

PSS. For 50 users (scan to pc) I recommend installing the file utility on a server, create a folder for each user and direct it to each users folder. This will save you time to install it on 50 users pc's. Show their IT guy how to set it up and let him roll it out.

        Many Thanks

Thank you guys for your help and direction, Scan to P.C. worked out great.I am suprised however that the machine can only scan to 10 SMB locations (compared to say the Ricoh colour machines). But all worked out with your help. Thanks

Dont get Kyocera wrong against the Ricoh machines.

They only implemented SMB scanning from the falcon 3 series. They put it into the km2525e (etc) colour machines as an "optional" protocol that needs to be activated.

I have not seen the taskalfa machines yet, but apparently they are like the falcon 3's where smb scan is the main function of scanning.

They converted to smb scanning because of the 3rd party software that needs to be installed on users pcs... I mean, why pay for developers to develop software, when there is an easy microsnot way!
