Kyocera P3055 Shifting Alignment Tray 2

    Hello,

I have a customer printing on labels and the alignment is a little off. Numbers and names are cut off on the labels as they peel it. Labels are in tray 2.

I know HP printers has a setting where you can adjust alignment on the X & Y axis. Does this Kyocera model have something similar?

are you sure they have defined the PROPER size/type labels? have they tried printing a sample on PLAIN paper then backing it up to the label stock to see if it will align properly?

I would imagine any X-Y axis adjusts could be made thru the print driver.

Like Phil said, might be something with the media, maybe try printing the labels from MFP Tray? There is an adjustment for registration (lead and side), but it is prescribe commands sent through IC Link. see page 2.4.11 in the service manual.

good catch on the tray 2 .. completely missed it.

I don't know of ANY product that feeds labels CORRECTLY from any tray BUT the MPT. YES.. it may work that way for a while.. but MPT is preferred.

please check the suggested media for the machines and which tray they suggest labels to be fed from... are you setting fuser to a heavier media setting ( slowing feed speed - boosting temp)?
