i don't think older machines have many F codes explained in the manual. Sounds familiar to a code i had once on a KM-3060 in which the ADF cable had gotten damaged and had to be replaced. You may want to check the connection of the cable between the ADF and machine.

Try updating the print driver should be kx driver set to pcl5
or you can change the PDL to KDPL

you can try service mode #930,execute,,see if that works..just a shot in the dark..good luck,
