    4530 light copies at will

    I have a customer that say there machine goes light(copies) when ever it wants.. the copies that I have seen looks like the transfer voltage just drops out..I have been there twice ran 300 plus each time and No Problem found.. all copies look great machine has 350k on it new corona wires.. not units check hopper motors ect all good.. any help would be helpful this is out in a country school..

    Have you replaced the transfer charger housings? They burn thru and cause light copies, also will register transfer error codes. Do you have any codes logged? Also, check the drum potential sensor is in the right position.

      i tried t/s unit dv unit cleaned clutchs that drive part of the dv unit there are NO codes the machine will run and make great copies then just like you flip a switch they are bad again and some one it will just start to make good copies again all on its on you dont have to even open it up it just starts making good copies again.. any ideas would be helpful I am leaning toward a DPS or high volage board..
