    HYPAS ISSUE

I have a dealer client who has installed a new Kyocera Taskalfa 352ci and their IT technician has tried to remote into the device via the web browser and the device Ip and finds that when he goes to Links on the device web page he finds that he is unable to access the Hypas applications so that he can install Paper cut remotely.
The SD card has been changed for a new one and reformatted.
I have installed a version of the pkg file for Paper cut and have deactivated it as the IT chap has not got the naming convention yet.

Does any one know why this can not be accessed remotely?

The firmware is on a September 2019 version but I can not check the current version as the new Kyocera site does not have this model listed at present.
Any help would be gratefully received please.

Log into the device and check the security settings. Something should jump out at you there. It's much easier to navigate this device via the web than via the Ops Panel..lol

    All the best!

      Re: HYPAS ISSUE

Many thanks Mr Magic, the issue I am getting is in Canterbury. I see that you are from Kent which I presume is the Uk and not US.

I will check out the settings and update this posting when I get a result.

Once again thanks for your advice.

        Hi,
First, you don't see HyPAS link in CC RX until you install SD card and it is recognized by an MFD.
Personally I rarely access PaperCut via device web page. You can access embedded config directly "http://<deviceIP>:8080/papercut/admin"

Make sure there are no network restrictions that could prevent access HyPAS page on 8083 port. Also, try a different browser and navigate directly to "https://<deviceIP>:8083".
