    TA 7052ci

ok, i have 3 TA kicking our butts.

#1Tray 3 is mainly showing jam 0533 codes
    Tray 4 has multiple jam codes : 0534, 2604, 2613, 2614
we have replaced the pwb, the main drive assy. Clutch on vertical feed. Updated firmware and rollers to the tray 3.

We have swapped out the tray 3 feed assy, the vertical feed assy and the bridge unit from another 7052ci

We have toned out the connectors from the sensors to the pwb and all ring good.

#2 and #3 both giving c6770 codes. paper folding up inside fuser. we have changed fusers multiple times. have widened the lead margin as well. the #2 machine is also giving off f186 codes. we clear the paper and the machine runs for awhile. tech support thinks the 6770 is the power source. trying to get power monitor to test. all firmware up to date.

any suggestions on my problem children?

CHILDREN most of the senior techs are older than you.. As one of them I take a high offense to you using that word.

You said you tonerd out the paper path sensors but have you checked them during operation when paper is going thru the machine? That's what I'd check first. It should toggle back and from from 5v to around 0.

This is a fast machine so I'd only make one copy at a time and and check the sensors that way.

Is it jamming on every single page? Does any page ever print?

I would make 1 single copy at a time rather that running multiple copies. It helps narrow things down. Know what I mean?

              ?
              no print.

tray 3 hits registration and shows 0533 mulitsheet feed.

tray 4 never gets past the the bridge unit. it stops right above tray 3 feed

you could be my younger sibling...

bout turn 64.. feelings not hurt.... unless you consider taking offense as to mean " i hurt your feelings." I take offense to someone saying " F*** America " my feelings aren't hurt but to consider they are living in probably the BEST economy in the world... have more freedoms than any other country in the world.. etc most of the people that say things like that are entitled CHILDREN, who have been given anything they want without any sort of reparations to the giver. . I find comments like that to being rather ironic, comments like that don't hurt my feelings.

comma or not sounds bad for you Sir.

but I am done with this

To me it sounds like something in the PF unit. I definitely feel that way about tray 4. And tray 3 sounds like the paper is making it there late. I'd check the PF section again.

Have you replaced the registration clutch. Have had the issue as well a few times and reg clutch was the culprit.

I had one of these giving me fits, I ended up replacing the paper feed board in the large deck. Also I hope you have brought a ream of good paper from your office to avoid some of the paper issues.

I'm a little confused. It looks like your original post is seeking assistance on two completely separate problems. This isn't recommended.

One an issue with your tandem tray. The other an issue in the fuser.

Also the use of the "bridge unit" I cannot tell if you're talking about exit-to-finisher bridge unit or the paper transport unit in tray 3,4 as a "bridge unit"

But as far as the fuser issue, I had the same thing and found broken guide fins in the exit-to-finisher bridge unit. I think when the customer pulls it out they break against the ops panel. I found them laying peacefully inside the bridge unit and was able to glue them back on.
