KM 6030 feed problems

Hi

I have new km 6030 (less than 200k copies) and from the very beginning there are problems with feed from trays 1 and 2 (large capacity).. Paper travels about 3-5 cm and then jams, w\o visible reason (1 time per 100-150 copies)

I've already tried to adjust pressure of separation roller and cassette centre position but this gives no effect at all.. Any ideas?

pick-up roller wears way to quickly on these machines. tried to change it?

The paper empty sensors on the large decks are are a hollow upside down cone on this model and from experience have found they wear very quickly. And guess what-the part is not available on its own you have to buy the feed assy. Worth checking.

after series of tests I acknowledged that everything works fine, when the amount of paper in cassette is 500+ pages
so probably the solution is to adjust a position of a cassette...(and check paper end sensors)
So I will try this and report tomorrow)

we have noticed that the feed tires and seperation rollers dont last long. if you have replaced all 3 per tray, try replacing the mylar at the feed tires. they may be bent, i've even found some bent backwards (doesnt sound like that is the issue if its not jamming all the time).

Have seen the sensor arm bent on a machine and causes jam from tray not rising to roller. Check the part indicated on the picture. I think this is same part funnyfarm69 mentioned.

Per our tech rep you should try replacing the rollers in the deck with parts from the PF-660 side deck option. We've tried them. Time will tell.

i had a problem with the 8030 doing the same it turn out to be the little board for the tandem trays i changed it and there have been ne issues since
