This Parts & Service manual can now be purchased for $11.77 and downloaded immediately after payment from The Internet's largest collection of manuals

There are no free Parts & Service manuals on that link. USER Manuals, but no Service manuals.

          Duh!

Well thats fine when you're in the shop and have online access, but when you're out in the field and all you have is your laptop, nothing beats having the Parts & Service manual in .pdf format at hand.

If your an authorized dealer you have access to download service manuals for free. Believe me, your paying for it as a dealer. If you have a service that your providing for someone, there is nothing wrong with being paid for the service you are providing, regardless if the info can be found for free or not. If you don't want to pay for something, then don't. If I needed a manual to repair a machine that I am not an authorized dealer for, I would have no problem paying for it. The cost gets added to the customers bill or as a tool for the shop. You can't tell me your going to repair that machine for your customer for free, or maybe you do. My bad.

-so when you're going to fix a Ford engine and you don't have a manual, you ask anyone but Ford, if you're going to fix a Sony dvd player, you ask anyone else than Sony, and if you need a Kyocera manual, you pay some dubious dude who leave his ads on various forums on the net instead of Kyocera. Yep, that makes sense.

I like many others provide a valuable service for the independent dealer.

If I was going to fix a Ford engine and didn't have a manual I would go to an auto parts store and buy one. Dollars to donuts "Ford" won't give you one let alone "sell" you one. And the only manuals you can get from Sony are "Operating Instructions" and other info inserts. Unless you are a dealer or repair center. I don't see any thing on their site to get or download any service manuals, free or otherwise. I am a Kyocera dealer and "yes" I will take advantage and download any service manuals I need from their site for "free". Needless to say not all manuals are on their site. Especially for the older models. If I needed a service manual for an older model, not available on their site, you bet your bippy I would pay someone for a pdf download, knowing full well they spent their time and money scanning it in and making it available for someone who needed it. I think your just pissed off because you didn't think of it first. Remember, we are talking about service manuals here. You show me, where on Kyocera's website that a person "who is not an authorized dealer" can download a service manual... Huh? Can't find it? So shut the "f" up. And further-more I would never try to fix my own car, and if someone who never worked on a copier before wanted to try and fix it, then yes they should pay for a service manual. (and then call and pay me to straighten it out after they screwed it up.)
