From your description I would assume the client is looking to add page numbers when copying. A simple shortcut can be added to the copy home screen for this as spelled out in the user's manual. If when they are printing it is accessible from the driver. When asking for pagination are they really looking for "Bates Stamping"? Being a legal firm this could be what they are looking for. Bates stamping adds page numbering, user info, machine serial number doing the scanning, etc. Both are available on the unit so get a better understanding of what they are looking for.
