Just curious if anyone has been able to make the toners for the Copystar 4553ci series to work in the P8060. Same yield toners, identical toners but 100.00 ea more.

are these machines the same ? If yes and you can't just insert the toner cartridge in the copier you have to transfer toner powder to the empty cartridge that fits in.
If not you have to be cautious with Kyocera machines in general regarding toner. From my experience one customer order from internet and used toner km1620 (not genuin) to taskalfa 1800 and it worked . The image was poorer but acceptable . Later with no problem used the proper toner.
In other case (i think) k3030 used toner from km 1620 (if i remember well ) and it worked with acceptable but poorer image . But when trying to use genuin proper toner had had image problems!!!!
Km 4035 are more sensitive to toner.
