is there anyone recoating pcr's anymore last one I knew of was PCRMike...but I think he is long out of business. I was wondering since these kyocera pcr's dont go the full life expectancy

BUT if excessive toner build up is the problem have you tried an old trick of mine I have been using for decades
take Nu Finish car polish and coat the PCR... let dry .. buff ( it make two applications ) once the roller is clear of buildup reinstall and run a few test sheets.
most times it will produce bolder and clearer prints and give full life for the roller, and reduce wear to the drum.
try it let me know how it works for you. -

Thanks Phil, sorry for the late reply its been a bit busy today. Yeah I've done that and usually they work out well. I was just thinking about all those bubbled ones that we through away and was looking for a cheap replacementComment
