Need help in removing the covers on this fax machine. I've removed the 4 screws that are holding the upper cover yet there must be something more needed to remove covers. Thanks in advance for your help.

Is this machine about 20 years old?

Seriously, I would recommend using a claw hammer or a really big rock to open it up. If that doesn't work you can go to Walmart and buy a brand new one for about $69. Just think of the cost savings you will get from not having to buy thermal paper.

The man who had the company before me sold these machines yet I thought he discontinued them because the boards were more expensive or at least as much as the machine itself. This customer however said the machine had been good to them even went through a fire. Go figure.
