So the customer has been using prepunched paper for some time with no issues. Out of the blue the machine starts outputting the jobs with the holes on the wrong side. Can't find any way to influence this so far. I am certified on the main body as the Konica 8031 and the Fiery x3e+, but this doesn't seem to help in this case as much as it usually does...

Are they print jobs or copy jobs (or both)? Are you absolutely positive that the customer didn't just load the prepunched paper wrong? I can't really think of any scenario where the paper would be flipped before the first side was printed. Are they duplexed jobs? Even if they were, I can't imagine what would cause the second side to be printed first.

Could they be running a printing job and saying it goes on Letter-R paper from the print driver, then the machine not having Letter-R loaded is automatically moving it to Letter paper and just getting the orientation wrong???
