4054ci with Fiery printing system has 1030 code that comes back within a few minutes of power on. Control panel says check connection to printing system. The Fiery icon appears on the home screen of the 4054ci but nothing shows when selecting the icon.

Going by the installation guide I checked the connections between the Fiery and the interface board on the 4054ci, reseated the connectors. There are service switches on the Fiery that seemed to be in the wrong position. I set them both to off which the PS-17 service guide indicates is the normal position, no change. I'm considering reloading the system software which Kyocera says is the next step. They recommend leaving ipv6 enabled on the 4054ci, it was already enabled. Has anyone had experience with this problem?
