    Kyocera 5551ci - F124 error

    Having problems with a F124 error. The tech has checked the connection of the harness, Formatted the HDD U024, executed U021, replaced Scan/DP board. Before going any further the tech asked me to see if anyone else has ever run into this and what resolved it.

      Think I found the problem. Went to check and clean and reseat the 2 memory boards on the back of the machine and when I touched the Document feeder board I noticed it had play in it. Pressed the board and then heard a pop and it reseated. I must have come loose somehow? Turned the machine back on and letting it run for a while but for now no Errors?

      Fixed it.
