Need to get advice to see if other Kyocera dealers are not getting new machines in. We have machines on back order since Oct of last year. Is everyone feeling this pain? I am afraid if we don`t start getting machines in layoffs will happen soon. How are yall looking? Is this a nationwide thing? 6327 toner still very hard to get OEM from Kyocera. From small to big nothing is coming in. Customers are pissed and backing out of contracts.

No issues for us as a Xerox dealer, but my wife's school recently ordered 2 machines from Sharp. Massive delays due to no stock and the second machine still has yet to arrive and the first has been in months now.

YES SIR!!!..... I have been fighting to make sure customers don't back out of approved quotes & telling them that this is the way of the industry right now. Kyocera is way behind & just this morning I received an email for 2 units I placed the order for on January 11th... We have six figures worth of back ordered equipment ordered through Kyocera. For the most part it's to replace existing equipment, so the customer's are understanding and not without a machine. You can't really trust the back order dates listed and just have to wait on shipping notification emails. I proactively upgraded customers last year to prepare for this, but that's also a good portion of the equipment we are still waiting on. You have to pretty much sell used equipment right now to new customers or anyone who needs and doesn't have a copier. Toner is the bigger issue, because if you can't get that a copier is useless. We've had other dealers and even non-customers who are down reach out to us for toner. If we can be the hero and help out we will, but our priority is keeping all of our maintenance customers up and running - so far so good but it's a major concern.Comment

Toshiba Canada has such high demand for inventory that we expect to receive a container this Sunday and will pay overtime to warehouse staff to unload and ship on Monday.
Hardware orders far exceed available inventory. Toshiba no longer responds to large RFPs as we focus on doing our best to supply our dealers.
Toner deliveries are normal and not an issue.
There is almost no chance that the global supply chain issues will improve before summer 2022 and could extend into early 2023.
Like it or not you should consider a secondary OEM A3/A4 supplier.Comment
