Customer has a CD5003i that has faded image on all prints and copies. Looking at PM counts it was due for a full maintenance kit so we performed one. This include the image transfer belt, image transfer roller, fusing unit, drum, and the developer. After performing maintenance kit, resetting all counter in maintenance mode, and performing a developer refresh, the image is still faded. We also inspected the toner pump area to make sure nothing was clogged and no signs of blockage. Also marked gear on developer to make sure they were being engaged and spinning, they are. Spoke with tech support and they recommended changing the high voltage board. Changed main high voltage board and high voltage transfer board. Still having faded copies. Have any of you seen this and what was the issue and fix?
