[Error Code] Error Code C5101 taskalfa 3212i

Hi All,

I have been trying to fix this code from nearly a week now. I've tried replacing the charger unit, high voltage pwb. Also, today I replaced the drum. However the code c5101 persists. I have cleared u930 while replacing the charger. Is there anything I'm missing out?

The only things you could do is to upgrade the firmware. If it doesn't work i will check the main motor and the engine pwb.

Thanks for your Reply. Just to add, after changing the high voltage pwb, I was able to take a few copies until the code appeared again. The machine has run for over 400k copies.

make sure that the ground path for the drum is good. also check the HV path between the board and the drum MC and look for dust, toner or signs of arcing to chassis or other conductors. I suppose the developer should also be checked for debris, arcing to drum or other HV leakage. I don't remember specifically, but if a wire is used for HV on this model, ensure that it's clean and separated from other wires and chassis to avoid arcing through the insulation.

Did the machine recognize the new drum? Check Unit History printout.
