    Squeaking/Grinding Noise Kyocera PA5500x

    Hello,

can anyone tell me typical sources of squeaking/grinding nosie these printers (and the predecessors which have the same structure) have.
I know the rolls from the backdoor paper exit. But the printer makes nosie again. Printer has 180 000 prints.
    Thank you.

I know the previous models pull the cassete out and oil the white rollers in the pull out tray

Idlers in the back door as you mentioned
      Drum unit can squeak
The gear that moves left/right that engages the drum when you close the cover, ive had luck oiling that
Idlers in the duplex unit (not terrible to remove from the machine, remove the tray, lay it on it's back, remove the metal plates and then remove the feed roller shaft then a bunch of screws and it pops out)

Don't put oil on a shaft that has a clutch. These little Kyocera's don't handle that well. Sharps didn't seem to care the way the clutch was designed, these turn into the jam-o-matic.
