Came out around 2004. Not a very good machine. CQ sucks. Your problem is with the fuser assy. Original did not have sep claws, but were added as a mod. New fusers are ready to go. Toner is laid on too thick, causing cheap paper to curl excessively, especially black toner, and offsets all over fuser guides causing jamming. Also the toner bugggers mak their way up to the exit guide causing jamming. Have fun...
My mission here on Earth is to help all you Dum-Dums!
fuser trouble for sure, just like the dude said. with sep claws on fuser, not a bad black 'n' white machine :-). slow, but runs. with luck you can clean/scrape off hard toner on exit, and it will be ok.
agre to a certain level: putting your finger in and lift the leds one by one isn't really intuitive, and knowing the screw+bracket keeping the belt in place either. but when things doesn't come apart, there's usually a reason. allthough being limitlessly violent on machines giving you a hard time gives you immediate gratification, it's not particulary smart the long run :-)
We only had about ten of them out there, not one stayed for the full five years and I took a hammer to each and every one when they were traded. Kyocera even offered some riduculous trade in for them (60 or 80% off on a new model) but the customers took a bizhub every time. They were the biggest heaps of shit I have ever come across.
