[Error Code] Kyocera m2535dn/L error code C0840

I have been trying to get past this error for days now. I changed from a power dead motherboard to a known good motherboard and no problem. I purchased a new motherboard. I put it in first thing it said was pcb mismatch so I updated that in maintenance mode. now I have changed the battery....(possible original and new batteries are both dead so I will try another one soon) anyways found a suggestion that it could be firmware issues so I updated the firmware to the latest one I could find 5.109_5.001 .... still same problem.

I found suggestions like this for other models
Remember to set RTC with U209 and then execute U906 to cancel error "Maintenance T".
but the m2535dn/l does not have a u209 or a u906 to execute in maintenance mode.
is there a similar option in this printer ?

Try maintenence mode 251. There may be a reset there

already reset the counter there to 0 earlier today still same problem. If I understand the problem correctly, maybe I need to load the oldest firmware I can find for an older internal system date because the setup date has reverted to default nothing but the board is seeing the date of the new firmware?

I have had this issue as well and turned out to be bad drum unit causing the code.
