    can someone please hold my hand and give me a detailed walk though on how to turn off the fax number confirmation

      Depending on which model. Go to system menu, then report. Look for result report setting and choose off or the other as you like.

              Thanks guys, I found it.

              System menu> Function Settings> fax> Prevent Mis-sending settings> off
