taskalfa 5002 belt

    taskalfa 5002 belt

    i removed belt to check drum unit but after i put back transfer belt images are black or woo fade . An other service man told me that i have not placed tr belt right. i put it on the rails and pushed it in i donn;t see any mistake . is there anything to be carefull when i place the belt?

    Be sure the drum and developing unit is in properly. Be sure you pushed the button on the developing unit to lock it in place other wise you will get faded copies.

      After i removed and attached the tr belt unit some times now i have error c1950. Any idea what to do. i have disconnected and reconected the connector under fusing unit with no result.

        Primary transfer unit EEPROM error.

        #1. Reinstalling the primary transfer unit
        #2. Checking the connections
        #3. Primary transfer unit replacement. faulty
        #4. Replacing the feed image PWB
        $5. Replacing the engine PWB

          Did you turn off machine and unplug when you were doing that .

            Check that you havent damaged the pins on the belt connector very easy to damage if you taking belt in and out

              I have seen this to many times with this Kyo belt. different things see to fix it. I would start by stretching the cushion connector of the machine out ever so slightly, then re install your belt and see if that makes a difference.

                If that's all you did, and you're now getting a C1950 error, it's most likely a bent pin on the connector or something that's causing a faulty connection. I wouldn't worry about going in other directions until that is thoroughly investigated.
