    PinPoint Scan 3

    Gentleman,

    I came across this today and wanted to post it to save others some time and frustration:

    On the 4 Series machines with PinPoint Scan 3, do NOT update firmware passed v3.07 as it breaks PinPoint Scan. Firmware v3.08 and 3.09 generate an error screen after inputting the PIN and rolling back to firmware revision 3.07 fixed the issue.

      I am running PinPoint Scan 3.4.56.31 on a TASKalfa 5054ci with v3.09 firmawre and is working OK. Maybe using an older version of PinPoint Scan, try newer version.

          For clarity, Pinpoint Scan 3 for Macs is what is broken by the new firmware update, Windows works just fine.
