Kyocera Print Centre - Unsecured Connection

Anyone know whats up with the Kyocera Print Centre app on MS Store?

It seems to have stopped working with users getting a "unsecured connection" error when scanning.
There is an option to continue but this just leads to failed scan.

Possible windows security update? I've installed it on my Win 11 machine and get the same error. I have ran
subsequent updates to see if it corrects itself and set the network security protocols to only use secure connection
    but no joy.

I have the same error. There was a big Windows 11 update a few days ago and since then it doesn't work, no matter what I do. I tried adding the certificate manually, but that didn't help either. I'm so tired of Kyocera always having something wrong with it.

I am experiencing the same thing!

Print Center has stopped scanning - "A problem occured during scanning."

I can see and access the device, including printing over wifi.

Using Wireshark I can see the printer IP sending a signal to my wifi connection.

I have tried resetting the certificate withoiut success.

I cannot get any other scanning software to identify the scanner.

      Any ideas?

I see that not many of us are affected by the problem. Did you find any solution?

          Incredibly is working again.

I needed to uninstall all software, reinstall. This still didn't resolve the issue.

I then connected the device to my PC via ethernet cable. Re-added the device via Windows Printer & Scanners panel.

In the Kyocera Print Center I added the device.

Once this worked, I then re enabled wifi connection between PC and printer.

The trick may be totally removing all instances of the older drivers/printer in Windows. Re-establishing a secure connection via ethernet; then extending to wifi once trusted.

Faced a similar problem and was caused by a faulty ethernet cable connecting the printer to the network. After replacing the cable the problem was resolved.

There has been an update to the app on MS Store with bug fix.

My MS Store is set to auto update but I was still getting the error with the new version. Needed to uninstall the app, restart PC and then reinstall to get it to work. I'm having issues with Windows Update on my PC at the moment as well so not sure if uninstalling will be required for everyone. If it is, make sure you restart as I tried to reinstall and reset Store but still got the same error.
