Hi everyone, I have this model printer that the owner changed the yellow cartridge and now it can't recognize new yellow tonner.error is.. yellow cartridge is not correctly installed and sometimes says empty.i have read in this forum about closing the doors,but that was about the black color.my question is can this apply in my case of yellow tonner too?

Are you using OEM Genuine Kyocera toner? If not, that's your problem. In my opinion, Kyocera machines do not like aftermarket toner. If you are using OEM, then check the chip on the cartridge, maybe it is scratched or broken. Also, update the F.W. as well. As you said, doors being seated entirely and sometimes it is the sequence of the doors being closed that will help. -

Yes the door opening & closing door issue could happen with any color toner. K, C, M, Y. Worth trying that before you go any further. You can even try to talk and end user thru the process over the phone & possibly avoid a visit. Or maybe even re shipping out a new toner.Comment

Firstly check that the rear door is not open, otherwise take all toners out , switch printer off and back on without toners and then proceed to install toners 1 at a time. If they are using non genuine then what I have found is that if you remove the chip and install the cartridge in question the printer will show non genuine, then simply put back the chip and re install tonerComment

Thanks to the forum guys it worked on Kyocera 6235 cidn closing all the doors and installing the tonners one at a time solved the problem.thank you all for the advice.Comment
