A customer is getting a cyan and magenta square on recieved faxes only and dosen't happen all the time. I have never seen it but the customer has shown me the prints but they cannot tell me when it happens only that it is just on their faxes. I checked the transfer section for paper in the cleaning area. I also checked the colars on the dev units they are fine as well. Cant seem to pin point where it is coming from. can anyone give me some insite on this problem

Take a real close look at the transfer belt cleaning brush. During calibration, tone patches are placed on the belt to check density about 2-3 inches from rear side of machine. I had several machines where the cleaning roller was matted down in that area causing the patches to not be cleaned completely from the belt. Also check to make sure current firmware is installed. They just came out with a new one 31/35 this week.My mission here on Earth is to help all you Dum-Dums!
