ok, this one is baffling the crap out of me.

i have one that prints all colors except magenta. i swapped drum. the old M drum works in other colors, but still no M. I put in a new developer, still no magenta. I put in a new transfer belt into it, still no M. the only thing i can think of is the motor is not turning the magenta developer, but wanted to check with you guys.

My guess is the LED Relay board has gone bad.

Remove the Drive Unit and switch the Magenta motor with another color, see if the problem follows the motor. Kyocera updated the motors for the 5030 printer to the point where they look completely different, but still work. Not sure about the 5015.

i pulled the smaller motor that turns the toner box. it doesnt move under the magenta, but will work under cyan. i put the cyan motor into the magenta connector and it will not turn there. it appears that the connector coupling is shot or shorted. all other functions appear to be working. the fan connector is right next to the magenta connector and it works fine.

As someone above mentioned, i believe that board is called the LED relay board. However, it could also be coming from the board that connects to the LED relay board.
