C5300DN Printer

hello everyone,

i have installed a new C5300DN printer at my customers but it prints very slow compared to thier old xerox printer allthough specs on the new printer are better.

any one have this before???

Just like the guy on dnet-km.com suggested, upgrade the RAM.

You mean to add more ram to the existing? We always added 256meg of ram to the KMC5000 series printers.

first thing is to check a bloody IT guru has not done work on the server, they love their firewalls

Have you tried a different print driver when you go into device settings and change the emulation under PDL it seems like the 5C prints faster. I also disable the fonts under the printing defaults and under the advanced tab and change the quality to vivid.

sorry forgot to post reply, changed fonts to bitmap and fitted the extra memory and now the printer works fine.
