    Kyocera Mita 4035 PM

I am getting ready to install a PM kit (New drum unit, developer unit, fuser and transfer unit) in a KM 4035. I was wanting to know what all do I need to do for the settings. Does the machine already know that these units have been replace and do the toner density settings automatically adjust or do I need to get into a service mode and tell the machine to adjust them?

How do I get into service mode into these machines? Also, what is the code to get into the user functions and list prints? Thanks

    Exchange of PM Kits KM4035

After exchange of PM Kits is neccessary to execute folowing steps

    Simulations:
    U119-Setting the drum
    U930-Clear charge roller
    U464-AC Calibration
    U412-Adjusting the uneven density
    U410-Adjusting the halftone automatically
    U167-Clearing the fuser counter
    U127-Clearing the transfer roller counter
    U251-Clearing the maintenace count
    Perform color calibration
    Perform color registration

Yeah, that's the code. mdanaj's list is for the Taskalfa 500ci color copier, not the 4035. For the 4035, the important one to run is U130 which fills the developer section with toner. U251 resets the maintenance count. The fuser box comes with instructions on setting another mode in the 900s, as well as reminding you to update firmware.

Those are the only adjustments I can think of.

To get the user counter report, go into System Menu/Counter -> Counter Check (far right button) -> Print Report. You shouldn't need a code to get into that.

              Thanks for the help...

You know, that's what I did to get the reports to print out, but I guess someone assigned a code to that because it's asking for a code and will not let me print the reports. I can print the counter page, but that's about it.

As far as firmware is concerned, I know that I can use an sd card, but where do I get the latest firmware and how does it load?

Sorry for the newb questions, but I got a new client who has one of these and he wants us to service it.. First time looking at a Copystar. They look like decent machines as far as I can tell..

                Dear all,

I'm very sory but I made mistake. I sent answer for machine KM C4035 not for KM 4035. Yes of course for monochrome machine is neccessaary to execute U130 and U167 for clearing Fuser Unit and U251 for clearing maintenace counter
