    C codes not in manual

    I have come across one c code cf620... which means firmware upgrade required...
    and another cf14f... which means defective power source board...

    i get either of these two errors on a km 5050 when it gets hit by a power surge...

    Have you come across any c codes not listed in the manual...???

      Yep - on the newish stuff like the km-5050 etc. When i printed out a error log it had codes not listed so i phoned kyocera and was told that when the firmware is upgraded new codes are added that may not be listed in the service manual.

          You definately need a firmware upgrade...I think it might be at version 27 now. many codes with an f in them were related to control panel issues. All these were corrected. I have also had to replace the small DIMM on the control panel to solve some CF errors
