km 4035 mac 10.5.6 printer install problem

I downloaded the printer driver for km 4035 to mac 10.5.6. It installed... according to the driver successfully...

I then turned on netware and all the other options... on the copier...

I installed the printer as appletalk printer... it installed...

(side note: it came up bonjour and not appletalk )

I pulled up the printer que... it stated the printer driver was

installed improperly and cannot be used. Please try reinstalling it, or contact administrator

I then attempted to print test page... it timed out in the que... no effect on copier...

I tried setting it up as a lpd printer ... the same effect...

    any suggestions...

Ok... first the cable was bad... second if I use a postscript driver or try other kyocera drivers... I am able to print...
