Hi.. I have run short of toner for the KM1500. Pls let me know if I can fill the KM1500 cartridge (TK100) with toner from a KM1530 cartridge until my stock arrives. Will this work? If not, what will work? Pls don't ask me to try compatibles.. thank you

I wouldn't try the KM-1530 toner in there; they're very different machines. The 1500 is mono-component while the 1530 is dual-component.
I've never seen TK-100 in the US. Our 1500/1820 takes TK-18, but the TK-17 also fits it. The TK-17 is a bit smaller and holds less toner but has the same style hooks. If you really want to refill the toner with another machine's toner, I'd look into all of the 1500/1820 successors: FS-1030 (TK-122) or FS-1300/1350/1128mfp (TK-132).
