editing kyocera print driver for mac

does anyone know which file I need to edit on the mac to change the settings of the kyocera print driver.... i was told by someone that macs are basically unix... so all i really had to do to get the mac to print from a tray other than 1 or expand its abilities is to edit the print driver... my question... where do i find this file on the mac and how do i go about editing it? I am going to check this issue out tonight... so I should have some insights by tomorrow... please post if you have done this before... even if its on another print driver than kyocera... your insights are invaluable...

    CUPS

Have you tried going into CUPS to edit your printer settings? Open up a web browser on the mac with the printer installed and type "http://localhost:631". This is the web interface for CUPS. For more detailed information about CUPS, click here.
But I'm trying, Ringo. I'm trying real hard... to be the Shepherd.
