    KM6330 and KM7530

Can anyone tell me how reliable the Kyoceramita KM6330 and KM7530 copiers were? I looking to purchase one of those models.
    Thanks

They were OK at best when they were new, now they are 6-8 years old and not OK. Go with bsm2's advice and look for a newer machine.

Just look at the specs. Warm up time 360 seconds or 6 minutes and that's at room temperature! And you have a paper jam and have to open the front door and close it, the machine will say "Now Cleaning" for a good 3 minutes each time. I would also agree with a used Falcon 2 or even Falcon 1 machine instead. So many less headaches.

depends on their 'mileage'. on two important fields these machines are way better than their younger brothers: fuser and vacuum feeder. latter is totally superior, and i'd wish Kyo would release a new model with that and a less sensitive fuser/fuser exit.

and hey: it's taskalfa 820 and 620 nowdays

            km 6330 & 7530's

These machines need both drive gearboxes stripping down and gear shafts cleaning after a million copies, otherwise you get a lot of c2550's plus the duplex bushings get clogged causing the same error. Also most of the feed and registration clutches go rusty causing jams. If you are prepared to spend time and money doing this work then you will be rewarded as these machines run really well.
