sold this machine in 02. first call and it's a laser call. haven't found my org. manual yet but looking in intravia's looks like a laser. machine has 47k on it. are laser expenese for these machines and do you think it could be something else. I think customer will trade up if repair is to much, and I don't have but a few of these machines out. most copystars I sold was in 02 and this is the first call I've had out of them but also this is the highest volume of them. any help or comments welcomed.

Definetly a laser code. I'd guess $300+.

You can usually get by for a few weeks by cleaning the polygon mirror shaft and lubing it with tri-flo.
Hytec will repair them ( hytecrepair.com) or Ambassador (mpcb.com) both have the available for less than $200.
