Hi! Good Day to all. I would like to know some comments and feed backs regarding the machine KM-2030. What can you say about the performance of this unit. What are the common problems you have encounter with the machine? By the way, we have a unit here KM-1530 which has a problem on developer spilling on the side whenever the drum rotates. What seems to be the problem? i have check the the gap of the magnetic sleeve when i rotate it manually and seems to be okay. How many grams of developer should i put in the imaging unit? Thank you vey much.

2030 is one of the best boxes put out by KM. Most common problems occur around the fuser unit. The feedshift guide and exit guides become warped and cracked causing "accordian copies". If you have Duplex unit or Internal Finisher and I'll assume the same thing goes with the Job Separator, the timing switch goes causing intermittent jamming there. Aside from those minor issue, good solid machine. 1530 is pretty much a slower, scaled down version. But the internal components are the same. -
Check the developing unit bushings/bearings. They may need to be replaced.But I'm trying, Ringo. I'm trying real hard... to be the Shepherd.
