Kyocera FS-4020 print PDF too slowly

One of our costumer have a problem with two new printers Kyocera fs-4020 with 128mb ram.
It started with one them the description below and now the another one.

This costumer print a document consist of 5 pages PDF what happen is first 1 pages come out and you have to wait 4 seconds for the next pages and 6 seconds for the next pages.
Sometimes a error log is generate ram disk not active or but the printer ram disk is on. In the same office there is a HP laserjet 1320 with 32mb ram it's printing PDF documents fine and fast.
    Any Idea? I need help.

They use XP-Operating system, the driver are share on the server and must document are in PDF.

    Any Idea?

sometimes it helps with pdf's if you configure the port as an lpr port, seems to make a difference on Ricohs, not tried on a Kyo yet

Have you tried up dating the firmware?
I know this works on other products with similar issues

make the printer driver spool then print... that often helps... it may take longer to start but prints faster in the end...
