    C3300 Optical system (AGC) problem
After AGC, correct input is not obtained
    at CCD.
    Poor contact in the
    connector terminals.
Check the connection of connector YC5 on
the ISM PWB and the connector on the
inverter PWB, and the continuity across the
connector terminals. Repair or replace if
    necessary.
    Defective exposure
    lamp or inverter
    PWB.
Replace the exposure lamp or inverter
    PWB.
Defective PWB. Replace the ISM PWB, ISC PWB or CCD
PWB and check for correct operation.

This may be a stupid question, but do you have the scanner pin unlocked? Is the scanner moving? Try updating firmware for starters.

junk means we got this guy broken... it looked like a fat lady sat on it... here is where we are at... we were able to get the guy running.... the frame was very badly bent... we used a sledge hammer and straightened that... then we crazy glued the exit unit together and then we jerry rigged the triggers on the door... it works now but we need a new exit unit and a left side door... we were also getting issues previous to the ones listed above... where the machine would not start just showed you the task alfa screen... after doing research.. we were told let the machine run until that disappears... 30 minutes to an hour... it should give you an error code... a cf code then you can update the firmware.... we did and were able to update the firmware... thanks for your response but we are good right now...
