How have your machines been doing since installing the latest firmware updates? Our machines have been running fine with just a few op panel speed comments from end-users. Has anyone had any actual mechanical issues?

the latest firmware has increase speed a little but I think customers have gotten use to the lag time.Get your facts first, and then you can distort them as much as you please.Comment

Seem to be running ok now with 2.04 (the NEW, new firmware). Had some issues with upper cassette showing add paper event though paper is loaded and lifted up. Reset disable reset problem. Had many machines that we had to remove and reinstall dimms to get rid of really wierd problems. I guess that was mostly on earlier machines. Our current population of Falcon 3's is around 100..My mission here on Earth is to help all you Dum-Dums!Comment

We only had one machine cause us problems. It was an upgrade from a Falcon 2, so they still are learning the ops panel. The only other problem we had was sabotage caused by one of the customers former employees. She set the number of copies in the user settings to 1, so the machine was only making one copy at a time.

We have had fuser error codes on three machines, the latest firmware upgrade has solved these problems, and the panel reaction speed is also tolerable. Will the pcu's last their aspirational 400/500K copies ?Comment

The latest firmware (204b) added an interrupt button to the touchscreen and speed up things if you were browsing in the address book. I wish they had this shit figured out back when they launched this thing but I guess its "better late then never".Comment
