    [Error Code] FS-9130DN Install MK - Reset

    Hello

    Does anyone know how to clear this message?

    We have been into the service mode and the maintenance mode (via compact flash) but cant find anything like the copier version for clearing maintenance count.

    Thanks

    Should reswet itself, but you have to install every unit in the kit, and do it correctly. Each unit has a pico-fuse or a chip that tells the machine to reset. If just one chip or fuse is faulty, it will not reset. Also, was the machine giving the time for maintenance message, or did you just install it because you had a problem? If you had the message and you installed the entire kit correctly, I'd say one of the units isn't resetting. Install another kit and claim under warranty.

      Also make sure that the machine is turned off before installing. If you are a Kyocera dealer, then speak to Kyocera directly and tell them of your issue as they may just get you to send an FRPO command to the machine that will reset the unit that didn't reset correctly.
      Please don't ask me for firmware or service manuals as refusal often offends.

        hi,
        just go into the user menu
        =>others
        => service
        => maintenance, 2 times enter and message is gone.

        So easy!!!
        can be that you need to update the FW first (normally not the case with these machines)
