    Kyocera KM3050- error msg C6400

    After turning machine off, unplugging & turning back on, it continues to show that error msg. It won't let me do any of the solutions I read here regarding it? This began from 5 hr. power outage I did try opening the cover door & starting it as suggested, as well as holding status/cancel job, or system/menu counter? One copier tech said we need a new power pack? I would love to be the hero & save our company money by fixing it. Any other ideas? Thanks in advance.

    That's a fuser error frequently caused by power outages. When you have an outage like that, turn the machine off til' everything stabilizes. But, the machine has to be reset through the tech mode, and you need to call a technician for that. Sorry.

      This is a zero cross signal and the manual states replace the power supply. Not so,it simply is a power fluxuation when the fuser is switching. If you go into service mode(with the front door open which allows access) and use simulation 163 which is a fuser reset and execute that,,, it will reset. Good luck
