Generally, the smaller the better. It's hard to find anything smaller than 2GB nowadays. The only problem you may have with buying a smaller size CF card on ebay is that you don't how much life is left in that card. I've had some problems where the machine will get a checksum error after the first two firmware files were ok. Changed the card, and all was well. But I mostly use a 128MB card that I bought off of ebay and has been great except for a few occasions. It may be a long shot, my you can try some supermarkets. My local Acme has a few 32 and 512MB CF cards new in box at the customer service counter. I guess they dug out an old inventory recently.
