That's the first I've seen them. Keep us up on their quirks, I expect we'll need to know by sometime next year.

Talked with our Op Mgr yesturday. He said they saw and heard about them at a show in Vegas. Release in the U.S. in several months, yea right! From the description on the Aussie site they don't look too bad. Falcon III display and color scanning, Hmmmmm... Get rid of the user unfriendly op panel of the KM-2550..

Yeah, my first impression is: "Thank God, a replacement for the 2550 !" Time will tell though.

So far the Op Panel, network setup, scanning, printing all pretty much Falcon III but the panel has very little delay apart from when saving settings.
Doc Feeder feels a bit light - time will tell.
Physically it is laid out like every other small/mid range Kyocera.
They took the stylus away though - were going to miss that!

They never had a stylus as standard in the U.S.. We order them separately part# 302GR94490 I think around $10.00. Customers like them but they are easy to lose or walk off for your kids DS.....

                    KM3060

We ahve been using the 3060's now for over a year and theya re great.. So far. We just started getting an error on them that stops the scanning. it is a CFB37 error which Kyocera says is a firmware issue. I hope that is all it is... they have been chasing teh trouble for over a week now. But that is only one out of 40 we have

                      KM-2560/3060

We've had 3 out in the field for over 12 months. 4 main issues we've found:

                      1. Squeaking in the plastic rollers when the larger finisher is attached. Silicon spray and regular maintenance fixes that.

                      2. Slow response on control panel. Firmware fixed.

                      3. Slow faxing. Firmware fixed.

                      4. Internal finisher feed rollers jumping out of position. Working on that one now. Probably roller replacement. Parts on backorder.

Otherwise they've been pretty good. 8 out of 10.
