    Kyocera Mita km 2050

    Just switched over to a ppoe connection for the office. Up until then we were able to scan to email with this device. Currently we are unable to do this due to the limitations of the ppoe portal size 1492. Is anybody aware of any workarounds for this device or firmware availability. Thank You

    The device creates a 1500k file and the ppoe has a 8k overhead and the file will not go through.

      Are you talking about MTU? Even then, the packets should fragment and still get through. I've never seen a way to adjust any network settings like that on Kyocera copiers. I suppose you could run a SMTP relay (look up argosoft or hmailserver) on an internal computer and point the copier to that.
