250ci Printing Issue

Hi

I have a Taskalfa 250ci, in a multi user enviroment, I have had complaints that print jobs, are getting mixed up, i.e small jobs getting mixed up with larger jobs. I have not seen it happen on site. I have shown them the private facility, has anyone seen this before

i not sure about this but if you turn on collate with it do it between print jobs so that if people leave there work there to long the machine will not just at paper to the same spot?????

I'll give it a try and find out, can you turn collate on as default?

yes you can

orig/paper/finish, then collate, when you change that it will stay till you change it, i don't believe you have to set it in a default for it to stay on.

You could also try setting a print job to offset. This could eliminate someone accidentally mixing the jobs at the machine. It is under the Finishing tab\Separation section of the print preferences on the new 5.1 KX driver. Only issue is that you will not be able to staple if offset is turned on!
