    Kyocera taskalfa 500ci

One of our customer as a Kyocera Taskalfa 500ci has reach already 211K printouts B/W in 3 months and know the developer unit K dump overall a lot of toner into the machines.
I cleaned it but after one week around the developer K are quite dirty with black toner. It's make the machine dirty inside. This machine is 3 months old and it has not reach 300K for maintenance yet. The developers M,C,Y are ok.
This developer unit K can be replaced under warranty?

Yep, we've done it a few times. Just make sure that the developer you use is not out of a maintenance kit, or you can't warranty the part back.

Had a few machines with toner dusting because cleaning units backing up due to black cleaning motors running slow, changed motor took care of problem.

replace the k dev and install the latest firmware as well, we have some machines that have no issues and others we have to replace the dev unit often...

Also check Technical Bulletin 9 (I think) about the new augering spring for the cleaning system.
